SEPTEMBER 26, 2012, early Wednesday afternoon at Walmart, Santa Maria, California
Back at Walmart to check out the toys and again no customers to speak of. Considering
that the action figures only occupy the north side of a single 20 ft. rack, there is a
good assortment available and little wasted space. Instead of endcaps there is an feature
island that is currently hosting the Marvel's Avengers
movie tie-in products. The island features Iron Man, The Hulk, and Captain America products: The regular rack's product lines have not changed since last month. The TMNT line seems to have sold well. The figures that caught my eye were the Bandai Power Rangers Super Samurai 4"+ figures and have a great price of $6.97 USD for these figures and $10.97 USD for the larger figures.

On the south side of the regular rack can be found Hot Wheels. These collectibles have fallen out of favor with most collectors since the 1990s when interest seemed to peak. But it is hard to beat the price of only 97 cents US for one of the small vehicles. |
